JC Training Camp
is a prayerfully crafted system designed to:

Get rooted and grounded in the Word of God.

Experience freedom and receive healing.

Solidify and unify Jesus Center as a loving family. 

Equip for Spirit-empowered ministry.

Training Camp

Our focus for these five sessions will be discovering and applying the power of the cross.

Option 1: Friday Nights

Location: Torrance (Prayer Room)
* Dinner will be served.
Kids Ministry provided.

Option 2: Sunday Afternoons

Location: Redondo Beach (Temple Menorah)
* Lunch will be served.
Childcare will be provided.

What to expect during the five sessions?

High-impact gatherings.

We will begin with worship and move into an interactive time in Scriptures together — with prayer, activations, impartations, and Q&As.. 

Fellowship.

We will enjoy many opportunities to interact with the leaders of Jesus Centers and others who are also hungry to grow in the Lord. You will be in a small group and will grow together with a loving leader.

Homework assignments that will boost Your faith.

We will give you a teaching to listen to during the week that will dive into each subject even deeper.  
Along with a Bible verse to memorize and a prayer target. 

Called to a Spirit-filled lifestyle. 

We are calling those in training camp to:
1. Read one chapter of the Bible every day.
2. Spend 20 minutes in focused prayer.
3. Limit non-edifying, non-work-related media to 45 minutes a day.
4. Attend church service on Sundays.
5. Bless someone every week.

Serving opportunities. 

We are asking those who have a heart to serve at Jesus Center to join Training Camp.
We believe you should first get to know the leaders, understand the culture and vision  of our church,
 and show a measure of faithfulness before you are entrusted to serve.

What is the Schedule?

1. Family Meal
2. Weekly Check-in
2. Teaching and Activation
3. Ministry Time and Small Groups
* Friday classes have training camp for kids.

What if I have to miss a session or two?
If you will be missing more than one session, we feel it's best if you wait until we offer Training Camp again in April.

Will there be childcare?
We will be offering Kids Ministry for the Friday classes.
There will be childcare for the Sunday classes.

How long will the homework assignments take?
We estimate about 90 minutes a week.

Is there a fee?
The cost will be $40  per person and $60 per family.
This covers the meals.
* Scholarships available upon request!

If Jesus Center is not my home church, can I still participate?
We have designed this course for building up our church family.
Our leadership team really wants to connect more with those God has sent here.
If you really feel you need to be part of it, we will make exceptions.

What will happen after I complete Training Camp?
We will present a certificate of completion.
You will have a small group from our church that will serve as a spiritual support system.
